Maybe it’s a lack of knowledge or maybe it’s just the busy lives that we lead, but many people don’t care about the carbon footprint that they leave behind. This can be very frustrating if you are one of the people who are really trying to make changes in your life that can be beneficial for the Earth. Governments all over the world are applying penalties now to encourage their citizens to make better decisions when it comes to the environment. Businesses are also offering discounts on products to customers who try to recycle certain items. One perfect example is your local coffee shop, where they encourage you to bring your own cup or container, and they will knock off a little bit of money for doing so. These are just baby steps, but every little bit helps.
Parents are really trying to do their bit as well, and they use reusable snack bags from Onya so that the kids can have a healthy lunch, but an environmentally friendly one as well. There are a number of different things that you could do every day that would be good for the environment, are really easy to do and they also create jobs while saving valuable resources.
