Amber Heard has acknowledged using MDMA and magic mushrooms while at Coachella. However, she has denied that she is addicted to cocaine and alcohol, despite a medic having seen that she is dependent. Johnny Depp is suing his ex-wife Amber Heard for libel in the US state of Virginia for a passage she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018. Throughout the six-week hearing, the court will hear from family members, friends, co-workers, and anyone who knew the couple when they were employed or engaged in outdoor activities.
2016 Coachella: What Happened to Amber Heard?
Personal nurse Erin Falati said that Amber Heard was “crazy” for 24 hours after using mushrooms, ecstasy, and alcohol during Coachella in April 2016. Falati forewarned. Heard that taking illicit treatment might interfere with her other medications and that the medical staff would not tolerate her if she did so. On Tuesday, the jury heard Falati’s prerecorded deposition, in which she answered questions about the entries. The actress told the nurse she had a history of drug abuse, including cocaine and alcohol abuse, when they first met in 2014. She also said she hadn’t used cocaine in years. As documented in Falati’s notes, Heard drank one to two glasses of wine each night before bed. The nurse claims that Heard’s outbursts of rage and raving are his way of surviving.
Does Amber Heard Drink and Use MDMA?
Amber Heard has said that she is not someone who should be considered a “habitual drug user” and that although she does appreciate wine, she does not find enjoyment in becoming drunk. Further, she dismissed as “crazy” the speculation that she wed Johnny Depp, 57, for financial gain or professional advancement. Ms Heard, 34, is giving testimony against The Sun tabloid, which in 2018 published an article labelling her ex-husband a “spouse abuser” in the libel trial of his current wife.
Her witness statement discussed the expenditures associated with her drug and alcohol use. In her 20s, Ms Heard began experiencing sleep problems that disrupted her work schedule. Her doctor prescribed Provigil, which she continues to take “to this current day in the appropriate amount.” Eleanor Laws QC, Mr Depp’s attorney, questioned Ms Heard this morning in the High Court on claims made in her witness statement that she “would not take any drugs at all while you were with Mr Depp” and “drink to excess.”
Nurse Erin Falati on Johnny Depp-Amber Heard Trial
Nurse Erin Falati was supposedly informed by Amber Heard that the actress had a history of substance abuse, including cocaine and alcohol, but that she had stopped using either substance ever since she met her spouse. According to the notes taken by Falati, the actress consumed one to a couple of glasses of wine each night, suffered from consumption points, insomnia, and bipolar disorder, and responded to stress with impulsive rage and yells. Depp is accused of telling Amber Heard’s ex-private nurse that she has to stop working as a performer.
