Amy Irving was born on the tenth of September 1953, and she is a prominent American stage, movie, and television actress and singer. She has won numerous awards such as Golden Globe twice, Obie once, and one Academy Award nomination. She is originally from California and grew up in the city of San Francisco. Later her family decided to transfer to New York when she was a teen, and then she made her debut on Broadway with a drama named The Country Wife at the young age of thirteen. She then gained education at the American Conservatory Theater and looked at London’s Music and Dramatic Academy.
